Few superchips questions?

I had a superchips on my old 01 ranger, it was a custom tune done, when I got it, i gave my engine code, tire size, etc. What I am reading and I may be wrong , is that I just order one and it works automatically? Is that correct? I have a 05 hemi.

Please let me know the steps in ordering one of these and if there is more than one, which one i should get.

Yep. But you want to be sure and update your 3815 Flashpaq on the Flashpaq web site before you use it on your truck. That way you'll have all the latest files and the advanced data acquisition features.

They are also for sale in the HTC Store

Yep. You can select one of 3 tunes. 87 octane, 91 octane performance, or 91 octane towing. You can reset the speed limiter to a max of 140 mph. Rev limiter to max of 6300 rpm (I think), 1-2 and 2-3 shift points can be set by you too if you wish. Unless you are changing to a different height tire just leave the tire size menu alone.

I may have mis-interpreted that question. When you do the internet updates to the Flashpaq you do not enter anything about your truck. Just let it download until it indicates it is done. Don't try and disconnect it from the USB port during the download. When you connect the Flashpaq to your truck OBDII port under the dash is when you put in the specifics of your tune options.
