Well... you know it's not complete already... It's also Blown as Nathan was running some high hp numbers.
I didn't receive it with a vb in it and I'm not gonna buy one for a blown trans

Who says this is addictive?

I myself, have been doing some turbo searching. However, when I do the calculations it always comes out with recommended turbos ranging from 94-108mm. Why are we running 70-80mm on bored and stroked motors? It seems as though if toyota 2jz's are running 70-90mm with is only 3.0L, then the calculation we should be 94-108mm because we're double the displacement, don't seem to far off. Just curious. Any wisdom on selecting a proper turbo would be great. Thanks

It's the back end that really matters that's where most of the flow is critical. The boost side you normally want in mm as close to the boost piping you will be running in a nut shell. The AR of the exhaust will determine how fast the boost comes on along with the exhaust setup and motor cubes. It's seems complicated its really not.

On v8 eng generally 60-76 are fast spooling turbos 77-whatever takes longer and the AR on the exhaust plays a big part.
