Forget the 1/4 mile speed, take a look at that reaction time! Horrible!!!

That's just one of the reasons why our HTC.com rallies are a blast!
I'm already looking forward to next year... I plan to go to the Daytona Rally in June and the North East Rally in July.

 

well thats sounds nice, but I cant make those long rally trips. If they where local I would be there.

 

We will have a total of six Rallies next year... all over the Country. One of them will be in Arlington TX - can you make that one?

 

There will be a big Texas Rally in Arlington during the whole first week of June. It was a blast last year and we're hopin that this year is goin to be just as good.

 

I figure I will add myself to the list. I ran a best 1/8th mile of 8.85 @ 80.85mph. I ran this last winter N/A before I even installed the nitrous. My mods are in my sig.

Good times everyone. Cant wait until till next season when the tracks open back up, I am sure that with all the moding that will go on over the off season we will see even faster hemis in the spring

Trucknut and ProudHemi,

The one thing you guys forgot
to address when comparing your
times was this. TIRES. Trucknut
has 277/45/20's which have a diameter
(Goodyear) of 29.8 inches. ProudHemi
has the stock ( I assume you do)
Goodyear 275/65/20's that are 33 inches
in diameter. I will content that ratio
wise...both of you will have no advantage
at any point in a 1/4 mile track. What
TruckNut loses with gears he gains in
smaller tire diameter. What ProudHemi
loses in tires he gains in gears. Should
be a very close equal trade off. Just
my two copper pieces worth of insight.

NO, NO, NO. Red is hotter on the color
spectrum. Black is very cool,old,dead.

Haha heat slows you down so that mean cold black is faster. Im telling you if we raced you would see black at the end. red paint is heavyer and hot on the spectrum so that means loss of power.

come on guys and gals. I know there are more trucks out there runing good times. we have hemis not tritions, or tincans. lets see those times even no they might bump me out number 4 spot.

You got any new mods planned for the near future??

 

New times as of tonight 9.07@77.44mph. I was really hoping for 8's but oh well. I think my truck has it in it cause on a few runs my mph was 79.50 with a 1/8 mile of 9.15. I never could seem to get it to hook on the runs when I would have good mph.

 

What were your 60' times?? Those are great numbers, and awesome MPH!!

 

Just going by memory I think they were in the 2.06-2.11 range. I could have launched much harder if I could have got traction. I had to roll into the throttle off the line.
