Took her to the vet Saturday for her "new patient" visit. Oil changed (full fur-thetic), paws rotated, brakes & alignment checked. She charmed the staff and thoroughly enjoyed herself, shots an' all. Shots administered while given some Cheez-Wiz from Dad. That probably helped.

Roxy and Gabe are play buddies. It's good to see this. Roxy has always been a very serious dog. She is definitely fitting in.

Many of ours have been archeologists and good at turning the back yard into a desert. I've never been able to get ours to tug-o'-war (they do manage to destroy some "indestructible" toys).

Here's my Rocky-boy. 28# when I brought him home, 63# now. A bit less food-protective. Now he only guards his food bowl. Treat distribution produces no drama - he waits his turn along with the rest of the zoo.
