Haven't made it to the powdercoater yet. Hoping for a slow day at work so I can take them.

 

I received the hardware and brackets from the Post Office today. Should have the Long Bars tomorrow from UPS. :thumb: Then the work begins to install them on my truck. :dance:

 

How's the color? Close enough?

 

The color is great, appears to be the same as my truck. If they had been black, you would never see them under the truck. Thanks Keith, they look really well built. :thumb:

UPS delivered the Long Bars today, so I am almost ready to install them on my truck. :thumb:

Spacer arrived today, so I have managed to install both rear brackets, left front bracket, and long bar. I ran out of time for the right side, so if weather holds, I will install the right side front bracket, and long bar tomorrow.:dance:

I will post pictures when I have completed the install. Hopefully tomorrow if weather cooperates.

 

My exhaust exits out the right side in front of the rear tire, and I am hoping there will be clearance above the long bar. I may have to get the exhaust modified for clearance.

 

Oh didn't know that one. It should clear with factory height truck though.

 

I will know tomorrow if it will clear. My truck is stock height, plus there is some room to move the tail pipe up.

 

To my surprise, I didn't have to do a thing to my exhaust system. Here is a photo of the clearance at the side exit tail pipe. I think it's about 5 inches of clearance above the bar.:thumb::thumb::thumb:

 

I have completed the install and I actually have 5 inches of clearance at my tail pipe. I test drove my truck, no noises, rattles, or bumps. The hookup was fantastic, I even had much better traction with my stock 20" tires. :thumb::dance:

 

They sure do look purty under there. That's gonna get some questions for sure. They stand out very nicely. :thumb:

That looks good. I was going to do my brackets black but I think ill do them red as well.
