I am sure it is something simple. A competent shop should be able to find it pretty quick if it is bad enough to run the battery down in a couple of hours. The sad thing is most shops are good at replacing parts but troubleshooting is a lost art. The easiest way to find it is to put a meter in series like discussed and pull fuses. If the draw is that much it should be pretty easy to find it this way. Good luck. Where are you in NY?
