I just talked to Sam. I'll be taking my truck to Fort Worth in 2weeks for the install. Just nee to update my Predator and send Jay my stock file for my tune.

The heads were done by Steve from FRI. They were done at GTP in Houston. The cam is a custom grind from Jay Greene(Greene Racing).

Just for information, the Crazy Spartan works well in a 03 using a Superchip. If anyone is interested I'll dig up the card. But I'm thinking it is 214/214 .536 lift 114lsa

Cams always like a little higher idle. But I ran it both ways without issue.

The 214/214 on a 114 will have just a little more overlap then the Sidewinder or Comp 260

37 degrees vs 36 for the Sidewinder/260

People forget ramp rates have effect on idle quality too.

Kyles cam has 35 despite being a 210/218 on a 115

Now this is at .060 now with ramp rates coming into play the 210/218 will have more overlap as the duration gets smaller, then all three. And why it has to be setup that way.

Well getting my truck to Sam has been difficult. So I found a shop here to do it. Driving 3 hours and having someone follow me just wasn't working. I drop the truck off on the 27th. I'm hoping to get my headers ceramic coated while there off. I also picked up an ATI 15% UD pulley. I'm ready to get this done.

Do you have specific recommendations for heads or a list builders to stay away from...?
