The lift is fine with the springs you are getting and if matched with the right converter and 4.56's it's going to run like a bat out of hell. Jay sure know what he is doing with these 3rd gen cam's and if my Diablo stack works we will be going bigger this coming fall

I'm running a 2800 TC. No plans for gears. I make it to the track maybe once a year. I wanted a street beast. Jay said this cam will have the TQ of a 260 on the low end and the HP of the 268 on the top end. If and when the trans lets go i may up the stall speed. Although when I bought the TC from Matt it was built for the stock motor. He said with it may flash higher with the heads/cam.

Do you have any 1/4 mile slips?

No sir . I have only ran 1/8 mile lately. last time I ran 1/4 it was 2 years ago and was only a 13.77
That was a good time. I believe this is going to be an interesting year for our old trucks.....

I look forward to seeing your slips.

The cam is strong, I don't know if I can take any credit for something they offered. But they had to be persuaded to do it as a true companion tune. lol

Call 1 866 844 1245 and ask for Greg. Explain to him that you have a 03 Ram and you want a companion tune that can be CMR tuned by your own tuner. Tell him the idle, top speed and rpm you want everything set to. Get the mailing address, and mail in your PCM following Greg's instruction. You might consider buying a spare PCM and have them flash it along with your VIN so as not to get caught in a jam. Good luck..

Be patient, it took me three attempts to get it right.. good luck.

:)....

Keep in mind the companion tune is nothing more than setting the basic parameters of idle, top speed and rpm limiter. And you will need your CMR tuner to tune for performance.

Keith does an excellent job on Red and I'm very particular about how Red runs. :brows:
