This is a weird one for sure it has to be something in the connector broken wire or loose pin since it worked before and now both tb are inop and non responsive
Do you know how to disassemble the plug its a bit tricky and if not done correctly pins won't stay in it when done then you would really be SOL I wish I was closer you need to check for a damaged wire it's likely I'm sure in your struggle to unplug it damage happened
Keith you are the man!! Was out there at 7am pulling it back apart an found that I bent one of the pins in the tb. Straightened it out an now all seems good. That was a nightmare. But simple fix. Excuse me but I feel the need to do a 0-100 pull right about now.
Yea I know... When i took everything apart this morning I looked at the tb an saw it, I kinda laughed. Something that simple an turns out to be a pain in the ***. I didn't want to have to drive the Ranger again!
Truck feels like poo. Ran rough at first just like intial start up after cam swap so I drove it around town to do errands an it felt better. Had to two foot it for a couple miles after it died at a light but holds an idle now.
That's because you reset the adaptive's back to square 1. Also your running on a canned tune. If you had a custom tune it would run alot better from the start. It's not a fail, just a bump in the road of modding. There's probably nobody on here with a modded truck that isn't saying, yep been there done that, on atleast one of their mod's. lolol
Never tried putting it back on. It's sitting in the garage at my parents ill mess with it one of these days. But I'm taking a break from the truck for a just a lil bit. I will be coming with some new things soon tho
I bet once you put the headers on it won't be to much.
