These guys did another video with the Ford doing the frame test and the tailgate actually popped a dent in it
If Ford was the only truck manufacturer, I would never own a truck. FORD initials for Found Off Road Dead.
The sad thing is, those were both 2014 trucks! Fords are junk....I can't understand why people buy them so much.....
dad always said that Ford's were made from recycled beer cans

wow, not much changed on those since dad's old '89 ford...when he sold it in 2001 the top of the box touched the cab while parked and when you hammered down the old 351 in 2wd there was a 4" gap and the u-joints would bind.....ford never could build a frame imo
Dodge is the under dog in the truck market. But no other truck maker makes a better truck than dodge.

as they say in business the company with the smallest share of the market has the most reason to build the best product.

i test drove all 3 gas CCSB 4wd 3/4 tons last february and after a summer of hauling the 10k travel trailer i still believe i bought the best damn truck, and either my 5.7 makes more than 383 hp or fords 6.2 makes nothing close to 385.
Interesting video. I just traded a Ford because they wouldn't stand behind their product. 2 years of fighting with them to no avail. No chance I will ever buy a Ford again. Thanks for sharing the video.
A friend of mine has a new GMC 1/2 ton 4dr pickup. I rode with him and it appears to have everything that's possible to put on a vehicle and runs quiet and as smooth as silk. He was very proud that he talked them down to only $54,000. Afterwards I climbed into my Ram and smiled thinking, one day I'll get the operator's manual out and set the clock.... ;)
Nope to that price tag. Did it at least come with a jar of vasoline or did he take it dry?
Lol I didn't pay over 33k for the diesel with 32k on the odo haha he got the shaft

But was the shaft lubed?

I gave $20,500 for my '11 at 92k miles. Rust free southern trucks come with a premium price tag up here though

2.5x that price for half the truck? Nope.
I'm pretty sure it was dry... but it made him happy so he says... I do catch him looking at my Ram on occasion. lol

With the Hemi I just feel like I got a great deal. I can't believe what Ford wants for a truck with a V-6 in it, EcoBoost or not and GM sure is proud of their product too, they want way too much for a truck with just a V-6 in it. I got into my Big Horn for what Ford wanted for a V-8 XL model, it's absurd. I just figure it's a matter of time before those turbos start sharding. When I punch it I want to be on the cam, not on the little shaft inside that turbo.
When I go to Lowe's and look around the parking lot. I see more dodges than anything else. I parked my 89' at Walmart and when I came out there were three other 1st gen's parked together. I don't often see other old trucks still being driven daily. Those old farm trucks may look a little rough, but they are still working....
