Just unfortunately purchased an 06, 5.7L that has a P0301, stuck intake valve lifter on #1 cyl. The situation is that the lifter doesn't work until the engine is totally warmed to operating temp. Once there, lifter works fine and engine just purrrs. Anyone happen to know what's the matter with the lifter and can I fix it with additives/flush, or does the lifter need to be replaced?

Welcome to HTC!!! Sounds like it's time to replace the lifters. 06 Ram would be a 3rd Gen!!!
