It’s never to early to start looking into this. We have a lot of new people on here would be nice to put faces to. I know we talked about moving rally to spring of fall for cooler weather. Ideas of times and places please post them up.

Cooler would be a good thing. Maybe fall. I was wondering is there a location that might be more central to the populas of the group . I do like NOLA but 800 miles one way is a no go for me. Unless these gas prices change then I may reconsider the subject.
I am glad you brought that up . I had forgotten about all the crime in NOLA. My uncle and I would go to Leeville every year in October to go fishing. Every morning we would go across the street and watch the news ALWAYS 3to 6 murders a night. If I were to tried to be RAM jacked either myself or the thief are gonna die because I will NOT willing give up my truck. Plus ALL the gun free zones in NOLA are NOT working. What about Louisville, Cincinnati, Indy, or St.Louis?
St.Louis I can get free oil changes. LOL
Here's a thought that might be cool in several ways. 1st October during the 1st 2 weeks of the month are "normally" good weather throughout the country, after that it is anyone's guess on weather. 2nd why not pick a section of Route 66 for the next number of years so a high percentage of it could be covered by those that want to have a part of the "mother road" covered with our RAMs. Personally I have covered a lot of it but have not been from St.Louis to Chicago or Flagstaff to L.A.
I think St. Loius would be a good call BUT if deicde to do St. Louis I would call a friend of mine that lives there and find where the good part of STL is . But from what I saw watching the news when I was in LA. There are NO good places in NOLA. Maybe we should think abou tthe outskirts of STL as well.
It is kind of pointless if we can not bring our trucks because there is no where to park them . Both places are fairly calm as I am unaware of any problems the many times I have been down there. Maybe they can give us a special parking area. Mine is a CC w/ 6.5 bed. So it takes some space up .
So are you changing your mind on Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge? I am good with that if that is what has been decided. I proposed a stretch of RT66 before. But would also be curious to who is intrested in going. As well as what might be a place central to the majority that would actually go to the rally. One more thing I would like to add is I would bring my Hemi RAM as it is a Hemi truck rally .

LOL RT66 aka Route 66 runs from Chicago to Los Angles. It is the the mother road of our country.
I am interested depending on the Rally location is. This is one reason why I suggested a central location to those that will actually show up.
