Garvan Woodland Gardens- Arkansas only 210 Acre Botanical Garden on located off the shores of Lake
Hamilton. Its dedication to the perseverance of the woodlands allows it to blooms year around. In the
month of December they change gears for Holiday Lights where they illuminate their landscape with
close to 4 million Christmas lights! Outside of the month of December, Motor Coach Groups can
schedule a greeting from Verna Garvan in the ever so famous Anthony’s Chapel. Check out this video of
her giving a spill to a group of folks in the Welcome Center. It’s not the same ambiance as the Chapel, but
it will give you her story. Her husband had her committed to an nut house, and tried to take her family
owned companies. Their divorce was made it to the Arkansas State Supreme Court, and she won!

“Greeting” from Verna.
Visiting Hot Springs and not partaking in our Bathhouse scene is similar to going to Florida and not
going to the beach. It’s what has brought folks into Hot Springs for centuries. Be sure to take a look at the
attached documents related to the thermal bathing experience. These will describe our traditional bathing
experience for you in more detail, and provide you with the exact information you need to partake in
these services.
