Does anyone know if my alternator from my 2005 Hemi Ram 1500 will fit my 2011 Hemi Ram 1500? It is an aftermarket 290 amp alternator that i only had on the truck for 2 months and paid $700 for it.

 

I would take it to the truck and eyeball it for the mounts, then measure them.

You may have to split the case & rotate. I can't remember exactly.

 

I visually checked and the Alternators are identical on outside. The harness plug is different than my '05, but when they first sent me this Alternator it had the newer style harness plug on it. Luckily I kept it when I swapped the harness plug they had to send me. The newer style plug fit the '11 harness. I'm pretty sure that this Alternator will work.
