I have a single cab rear wheel drive 2006 dodge ram everything works good my oil filter backed out and lost oil made the rod bearings and crankshaft bearings go bad need those replaced and will be a good truck motor is 75% tore apart

I would suggest repairing the engine. Not saying rebuild, saying repair it...

Hope it works out for you. I've got a spare short block from a 03 I'll let you have for $1500 plus shipping. Don't remember off hand what cam is it..would have to look IN my note book.
