Would've been in time for the 2004 MY....03's would've been screwed lol.
Irony is DCX looked into using the "5g-tronic" (NAG1 as we know it) for the 98 Ram's they felt the 46RE was too restrictive and a determent towards city mileage, but management felt replacing the USA made 727 based trans would of had a negative affect on sales, they took the Germany owned US Car manufacture very seriously in the early days.

Figures....I would've been MUCH happier with a NAG1.

I drove an 05 SLT Ram a few years back , twin 76mm turbos , that had a 05 C300 ECU/TCM , Dash was custom, they had a C300 instrument cluster, seats, console, ran a Nag1 trans, that thing ran great, the guy who ones it lives in North Nj , it's been for sale off and on over the last 6 years, neat ride but not 30k worth, lots of custom stuff, headlights, grill, fenders and bumper were spliced with C300 ends, whole front end is about 4 inches wider .... I get it but I just don't think anyone will put out that kind of cash for a SLT , if it were a Bee/Daytona..I think it would go in a week, it has that "lord Vader , your Ram is ready " look
