I hadn't seen this thread and bought a 3865 and tried to use it on my 2011 5.7 Ram 1500 - got a G-3F error. Called Superchips and lo and behold there's no programming available currently and they said it could a few months until it is.....bummer

 

Still no 2011 SC update available

 

We are still working out the issues with the extra security Chrysler added to their PCM's for 2011-12.

Hopefully we will have something around SEMA but I won't know specifically till we get closer to that date.

Scott, I just traded my 08 for an 11 tonight. Will the tuning for the 11 be downloaded into the 3865, or will I need to buy a new unit after it is available? Thanks!

 

Yes, once the 2011-12 tuning has been completed all 3865 and 3950 owners will be able to download those files to their products free of charge.

I have a 2010 Dodge Ram, Nig Horn. I asked about the SC before and just wanted to clarify certain things before I purchase one. A Hemi with the cylinder shutting down on eco driving. What model do I need for my truck? I'm hoping all I have to do is install it without complications of trying to figure out what to select> I hope it has a install directions that will allow me to just say Yes or No. like my 2003. And finally where is the lowest place to order it? Thanks in advance. HI mark!

 

Both the Cortex 3950 and Flashpaq 3865 offer tuning levels for Dodge Ram models with the displacement on demand (DOD) feature.

Once you plug in the programmer of choice it will read your VIN info to determine vehicle year, make, model and drivetrain in order to setup the specific calibrations for that application.

Tuning is very simple to understand and should only take you 10-15 min to install the first time.

Use an Authorized dealer: I bought my 3815 (yes, I've since been upgraded to the 3865) from StreetSideAuto.Com. StreetSideAuto IS an authorized re-seller.

so its been about 11 months, any news on the 11's yet? expected release dates?

 

No 2011 release dates set as of yet but we are making progress with the Cummins that should translate into progress with gas apps.

As I hear more news I will be sure to let everyone know.

are you guys planning to give us the option to turn on the fog lights on with hi beams? i heard one of the other "guys" allow you to do it. it would be pretty awesome.

 

I will surely add the request to my report I send to management and our Dodge team. They can looked into the feature from there.

Yes, Superchips does offer MDS Disable. You can order directly from Superchips or any authorized re-seller. I purchased my first Flashpaq from Streetsideauto.com.

Sure! If currently tuned with it turned off just retune and turn it on when prompted in the options menu.

Late entry. I installed my SC and it made a difference I could feel. The tranny accelerated at a higher RPM before shifting. But on take off it is still sluggish and can not peel any rubber. Unless I brake it.Will have to detune it now since the freaking gas is too high.
