07 1500 5.7 to 6.4 swap issues

OK, Yes I am aware of many issues. I am trying to put together the parts needed to do the swap before I pull my truck apart.
I already have a 6.4L BGE from a 2018 grand cher. I bought the core instead of sending it back to Chrysler. Stock lower end, already rebuilt and ready to go in. I have the tone wheel to swap on the crank for the 07 PCM to read correctly, I have the cam, non MDS lifters, and lock out for the phaser. I don't have an intake yet, but it appears in my HP tuners file that there is an option to turn on a short runner valve. If I can make that work, I'll get a 2500 6.4 intake and figure out intake from there.
Transmission, 545RFE is fine now... But wouldn't last long after swapping. So, what are my options... First thought was manual, $7300 for a new 6 speed manual that is rated for 850 and will take a transfer case on the back of it. That would never show a neutral in the PCM, so the DTCM would never shift to Low. OK, manual transfer case - 1300 from same place as the trans. Next issue is the front axle disconnect (FAD), not sure of how to control that with no DTCM to do that. It's not just an on/off switch. It's a solenoid that needs controlled to open and controlled to close. Or I just lock it and forget it. Add shipping and tax for the trans and case and just call 10K.
I also found a stand alone controller for an 8HP. OK, I'm not sure it would communicate with the PCM to show neutral or not for the FAD. Really unsure about the wiring it would take or the tuning it would take to make that happen. Unsure about what t-case would work best.
Another option I looked at a bit, but don't really have the room for. But, I think I could make it happen. Just buy a badly wrecked 2500 with a 6.4 and 8HP75 and use the transmission, transfer case, PCM, wiring, and DTCM. I wouldn't need the older tone wheel on the crank or even the engine I have on the stand for that matter. But, this is also likely the most expensive option. I could sell off anything not used.

If you're using the stock PCM to run the engine there is no provision in the code for an active intake. If you were swapping in a newer PCM that would be a different story. You can still use the 6.4 truck intake but you'll need an rpm switch. The last option isn't really a workable solution trying to mish mash select next gen CAN and first gen CAN together. Get an SG controller, or possibly better, Hotwireuato is now offering the SG controllers as integrated wiring swaps, i.e. they make it plug and play with your 07 PCM with a ZF trans.

SRV wasn't even a thought for Mopar in 2007. It can be there because the HPT software is capable of it on later models, question is will it actually let you use that drop down menu? Regardless, even if you can enable it the 2007 PCM isn't capable of it. Hell, it can't even run VVT, which is why you're locking the cam phaser lol. So nice pic, still doesn't help you, you're still gonna need an rpm switch if you wanna run an active intake. Or you can roll with it and find out for yourself lol.

That's what I needed to know.
So, now the question is which intake should I be looking for? I'm leaning towards going manual trans. That still leaves the question of how to control the FAD.
Get the 6.4 truck intake with an rpm switch. You'll need to block the EGR ports unless you aren't disabling EGR in the tune (stock 2007 ½ ton uses EGR, so do the later truck 6.4's). Alot of 4th gen guys switching to it: 6.4L HEMI Intake Manifold for 5.7L RAM Upgrade Kit by MMX
How do you have the FAD controlled now? There is no OEM ½ ton setup for that. Is it aftermarket or did you borrow from a Power Wagon?
stock 2007, has a front axle disconnect. I haven't looked at the topology of it in several years, but it should be controlled by the drive train control module... If I remember correctly.
