Anyone ever upgrade their 2003 TCM to do tow/haul ?
Believe that tow/haul mode was available on the 04 model.
I pull a travel trailer with the 5.7 Hemi, would be nice to
cruise at 2000 RPM at 65 MPH in 4th gear.

You might want to look at Superchips or Diablo programmers... might be an option for you

If an 04 RAM 1500 TCM is plug compatible to the 03, would it be possible to swap the TCMs or could the Dodge Boys flash the old one?

the 04 is not compatable with the 03. the 03 has 1 for the engine and 1 for the trans.
now if you want to rewire it. if heard that if you put the o4 ecm which runs engine and trans. and wiring harness. in it will work.

I believe what you said about the 2 in 1 for the 04, couldn't find any remanned TCMs for that year, but this guy on ebay thinks he has an 04 TCM!
Thanks the the insight, I can get onto other things and just use my OD off button for now.

The 05 is the better PCM if you are going to swap out the PCM. Weed has a 05 PCM and harness he has been trying to sell for some time. Look him up. I'm a bit out of the loop, but when I feel the need I just drop the OD. I relocated the button to the back of my steering wheel so it is very convenient to use. But sounds like you may benefit from a gear change to get the rpm range yo..u want. Good luck
