The sign is only on the set of grand stands closest to the staging lanes, but the other grandstands don't have the sign so I ate up there lol Definitely had a good time, and the track is much better than OSW. Each of us got a few runs in, we were the first bunch on the track as everyone else was prepping. The track opens 30 minutes after the gates open which is nice, gives you a chance to line up early and hot lap it real quick for a second run. By your 3rd and 4th run your waiting a while as they switch other lanes. I'll post a few pics later today

I was there when the gate opened. Only managed to get in two runs. Wait time in the staging area was rediculous. We were assigned to lanes 6 & 7. Lanes 1,2,3 &4 were moving pretty quick compared to ours. Those lanes were the real hot racing machine and dragsters. There were times when we saw some of them run twice while we were waiting in line. That sucks. My first time up I lost concentration. I started my burn out our the guy frantically waved his arms and stopped me. He told me to wait unitil motioned forward. Then he motioned me forward and again stopped me. Said something about water on the track and then said ok pull up. Almost instantly, I was staged and I almost missed the green light. We had the nitrous set for the first to come on immediately (75 shot) and second stage (125 to come on at 2 seconds). Did manage to get an ET of 12.5 with a 60' of .182 and a top speed 107.8+/-.

After waiting an unreal amount of time I had my second run Everything set the same. Still did not get a good burn out and 60' time was still around 1.82. At about 7/8 track by rev limiter cut in but I still ran a 12.3 but the top speed was down to 107.2+/-.

For the next run we changed the first shot of juice to come immediately with a 125 shot with the second one to come in at one second with another 125 shot and we bumped up the rev limiter 600 rpms

After waiting in line for about an hour, I said to hell with it and backed out of the staging area and departed.

All in all, the track was prepared good and I managed a 12.5 followed by a 12.3

Does anybody know why the faster cars (actual non-street legal) cars are given priority over others?

Would I go back to Gainesville? Not sure........

i will post my slips later..

Worst thig that happened was that the cold weather made my hands shrink up and I lost my wedding ring. That sucks.

That hot lapping was cool.

Yep, after the second run(12:30ish). That's when most people had their cars prepped and in the staging lanes.

How about that cool dragster N/A on alcohol run a 6.95@263mph.

Lanes 1 & 2 were for the fast cars & dragsters Nathan. Some of them where also in lanes 3 & 4. Yes, those lanes did go faster. That's why I got lined up with a wheel standing chevy nova.

Tyler got stopped at the front of the lanes twice.

Think they were double checking to see if he had a helmet this time.

Yeah, I went from the very last in line to just about to run. Both times truck was running, look at her and put the hemlet on then she strings the rope across and let's the other two lanes go. Pissed me off to no end, I really wanted to slap her big ass titties around for it, but I figured that wouldn't be such a good idea the first time out lol.

Loved the track, truck ran stonger there then ever before, I definitely need a Limited Slip after looking at Mario's time slips in comparison with my last run I'm perplexed. Mario was able to run a 14.27 @ 95, while on my last run instead of feathering into it with the peg leg I was hoping that the track would be sticky enough for me to punch it of the line. I was wrong lol I ran a 15.something @95mph.

Posi and some gears should be 1st on your list Steve.:thumb:
:thumb: They are, truck looks good enough, now that there's options for 4th Gens, it's time to get fast :brows: tied my PB the second pass out there and confirmed what I already know, which is from a roll the truck flies, but lacks on launching. Time to fix that.
