8hp70 is what I would do it you have the money and time and skill to do it yourself. If not then a 518 is fairly simple.
Id love to go 8hp70... is there a forum for the 3g swap?

That sounds like a lot haha... if I could find a way to make these little torsion bars hold i throw a 12 valve in it

sounds like you've got buyers remorse. couldn't afford the diesel tax huh? cheapest way into that is to get yourself a p pump 12v and drop it in to a beat to heck Chevy, Dodge or Ford. I personally love me a square body Cummins swap.
Haha no it was my first truck I have a 2014 6.7 cummins mega cab dually I use as a tow pig... just looking for something to play around in. Idk how to make the suspension hold the cummins
