I have a 2006 1500. The driver seat won’t go forwards or backwards. The right side of track move some but the left side track doesn’t. What’s the best way to fix this?

the seats unbolts fairly easy I think 4 bolts or nuts to remove and you can lay it back to check everything,,if I read your post correctly its one side of the seat tries to move and other side doesn't ,,look in the track to see if something is lodged in it , I have seen a penny lodge in a seat track an prevent moving on one side

Something in the track or a broken motor output drive cable.

Never thought it could be something that simple for some reason.
Mine will move forward and backwards, and can tilt up/down the front section of the seat, but cannot tilt the rear section at all. I assume the button works because I can hear the motor, it just won't move the back part. Hopefully it is something that simple, I'm only 5'10" so it would be nice to be able to properly raise my seat up.
If the motor is running/working but nothing is moving then the drive portion is messed up, good chance it's an easy (and fairly inexpensive) fix.

No sir I haven't. Paid off my student loans last August, so I've been pretty much living out here at this plant trying to stack some money. When I do have a day off, usually have some family stuff planned. Will update when I get a chance to look at it.
