The fast unit has an OBD2 port lol. So you can pull codes and what not from it with a scanner in generic mode. My buddy just did one on his 69 camaro its a sweet deal

I'm not sure what codes you might get with the emissions deleted. Can the FAST datalog?

I believe the FAST system is the most popular. Megasquirt also self tunes.

Diff thread for that stuff this is Trans thread. Standalone pcm is likely needed in newer stuff that's for sure. But not needed for HP reasons at all just to run engine if it will limp mode the pcm otherwise

Keith, is the kit ordered yet? Haha I know you are as patient as I am.... ;)

Keith, how is your TV cable setup doing? Any pictures?

The question I have about the newer trucks is can the automatic (tcm) side be turned off or is there a manual trans pcm available? As always it's the damn electronics that make things difficult.
B&G performance told me they think they can.

There wasn't a manual transmission PCM available in a pickup with a VVT hemi engine.

Being a 05, the pedal mod is most likely the easiest. When you get a chance take a picture of your pedal assembly so we can see if there is anything to attach the cable to. If not then a 03 assembly will be needed.

Keith, Been thinking how the TV cable might be mechanically controlled. How about a air actuator? Would have to experiment with different spring tensions, but might be doable. Connect the actuator shaft to the TV cable and connect the air fitting to manifold pressure/vacuum. High vacuum pulls the shaft in over coming spring pressure, lack of vacuum, the spring pushes the shaft out. Boost holds the shaft fully extended. This would be very close to the position my follows being tied to the accelerator pedal. The main thing is to have max line pressure when going wot.

Haha, by the time you get the cable through the firewall you'll be saying man there has to be a easier way.... that TV cable was the most difficult part of the entire install. Now with that said mine works flawlessly using a 60' era motorcycle clutch cable.. along with a cable adjuster about 18" from the fire wall to make fine adjustments easy to reach.
