Funny. He looks like you Josh....

But, the truth of the matter is. It Works!!!!:dance::dance:

Just got done with some 10psi boost testing. It's doing exactly what I want it to do! :SWEET1::dance::dance::dance:
That's what testing and tuning is all about!

Building a "Anti Turbocharged Water Pump Cool Air Intake Box". :D Hoping it will be rain and puddle prof so to speak of..... :ermm:

Also trying to deflect some of the hot air from the radiator electric fan. The hot air blows under the intercooler and heats it up some. Using thin light weight sheet aluminum.

What happened to KISS? ;)

KISS, can kiss mt a**!!!!:rofl:

Nothing is simple with a turbocharged Hemi..... It's just a cool air intake box and a radiator hot air deflector.
With the hood open standing in front on the passenger side, look straight down next to the radiator and you will see it's a open shot to the leading edge of the inner fender. How about adding 4"-6" piece of aluminum to the leading edge with a bit of a scoop toward the front. It should be high enough not to drag and still pick up air from under the truck and direct it into the engine compartment. That's KISS....:D

I've already done that Greg. What do you think helped scoop up the water into the turbo air filter.....:nonono:

Using that same air flow passage going into the air box. It actually wont be a complete box. Just shielding the hot air away from the turbo inlet. Will be running the turbo without the air filter at the track.

Just needed to block most of the heat generated from the turbo. Still need to reroute the heat exchanger hoses out of the way. Also opened up the wheel well to allow heat to escape. In the future, will move the waste gate back down under the truck to help remove more heat from the engine compartment. The turbo seemed to have a little better performance with the waste gate there.
