Ok well I finally got around to getting my street/track intake together. We did pie cuts on 10* angles and made this up.
You better keep that thing REALLY dry thenThat's actually a good idea Greg. Could do both? The engine compartment does get a little warm with a turbo in it. Bill(arocketman) had suggested to me to open up the fender well openings to get the heat out for cooler engine compartment. Now is a good time to do just that.
PS. Thanks Bill & Greg.:thumb::thumb:
Race trim only. If it's raining I don't drive Red.You better keep that thing REALLY dry then
Yep, Stu needs to stay away from this mod.That was just a jab at Stu lol
:lol: For the track only.....Yep, Stu needs to stay away from this mod.![]()
Trimmed the Wheel Liner just enough to leave cover (where needed) and a drip edge. Does make a difference as both sides are equal in the open space provided.That's actually a good idea Greg. Just trim the outside edge as needed. :thumb:Here is the pipe thru the fog hole fits perfectly in the old plastic surround. I think I will be adding a horn here to funnel it better.
That's not a bad idea.... Could use that aluminum bendable dryer vent tube. It's light weight and much cheaper than any cool air intake system. And could be used for at least getting the shape and angles of the cool air intake. I used one to figure out the shape of the 4" down pipe from the turbo.was gonna use metal clothes dryer tube.
