Hey everyone I just bought 10w40 Mobil one full synthetic oil. But I don't feel right about the numbers. I have 138 miles . I just want something that will make it run smoother (faster) what do you guys recommend

Next change gonna try Redline 10w30. I understand that the moly in Redline can quiet the hemi tick.

One, the hemi tick is a non issue.
Two, the tick can be fixed without changing to fancy oil.
For those using Redline, change it per recommendation. The Group V, although synthetic, doesn't hold up well over time.

The tick is usually attributed to lifters, but the rockers are a big cause of the tick and rattle. If you tighten the rockers by about an 1/8th turn it will quiet it down.

i do have a small seep from the ds valve cover. i should fix that and try the 1/8th turn thing.

We've even gone 1/4 past spec when doing cam installs, but try an 1/8th first.

Rotella 5-40 Synthetic. Mainly because of the slightly higher zinc content.

Rocker arm bolts.
I just ignore the tick. The 300C's tick is a bit more noticeable than the Ram. I don't know why - the C has fewer miles.

So the issue is the tick. The tick is often a broken exhaust Manifold bolts. I would use something like heater hose and listen around the manifold to try to locate a leak. Good luck..
