Wheel hop didn't do it lol I have had wheel hop so bad my glove box opened and emptied out before lol issue free.
I agree, I had DR's on and launched with a really harsh wheel and body bounce, it was so bad the rear view mirror came off and flew by me into the shelf behind the seat. The track condition pissed me off that day.

Isn't the whole buy back thing due to a shake that couldn't be fixed? Or was that Guberment motors?

What they said. Had the same thing on my work van. New axle, bearing and seal, and your good to go. Or an oversized bearing and clean up the old shaft and reuse it. Oh wait, you said it was bent. Don't reuse it.

Just be sure it was nothing that you did to cause it.

Just a little update on the axle. Apparently this is an ongoing thing and Chrysler is recalling a lot of 15 and 16 models. Yours truly just happened to get one as well. I went by the local dealership, and spoke with the service writer. She told me that I would need to bring it in, leave it, and come back when they had a chance to inspect the axle for possible replacement again. I told her I didnt have that kind of time and the dealership would have to give me a loaner. She let me know real quick that they(the dealership) did not give out loaners. Fwd a few weeks later to last week, and I went in there again(thinking that they might be slower and possibly get me in and out quick. Again, a different service writer tells me that its impossible for that to happen because of their workload. It turns out as we were discussing my issue, the salesman walked by, and I told him what was going on. He said he would handle it, and minutes later the service manager came to me and said he would have my truck in and out in an hour. :) Never the less, it turns out that it did have to be swapped out with a new axle, and once again, we are back on the road again. I hope that is the last of the axle scene. Smh. Oh and here's the link for the axle recall for those who have a 15 or 16 year model that fits in this category....

Sweet! That's one good thing the service guys will jerk you around but you find your sales man that sold you the truck and they are you key to getting it done lol.
Exactly! Of course, me buying 6 vehicles from them in the last 2 tears "might" have heloed a bit too. :brows:

:thumb:T-Rex makes a quality product. I had one of their billet valance grills on my 04 that I mounted in the front bumper without the plastic Ram insert (removed after it got scrunched up when my wife tried to eat a VWs lunch with my truck). It was a solid enough piece that I was able to modify to mount in the opening without the plastic insert.

...adn I may end up going that route, even though one of the tech guys told me its only for the Express models. I just hate to cut up a $130.00 part.

I have a T-Rex Billet grille in my 3rd gen. It is very well made. I would definitely buy another one.

Edit: just FYI if you want it powder coated black add a "B" at the end of the product number. They don't list it that way but I called and this is how they told me to order it.
