Great another retro rod Ram! If there is anything I can do to help, just let me know. This is going to be fun....

Greg I have learned one thing from you. I will be buying a car timing cover and accessories! I believe it will make for a cleaner install.

For a shifter any 727 3sp shifter will work not only on the A518 but on your current 545RFE. So you can get ahead of the game by installing a shifter. And I won't mention that with very little massaging you could use your column shifter with the A518, but who wants a column shifter?? And then that leads to the newer floor shifters and console, but nothing feels like banging gears with a ratchet shifter..... it never ends..

That's the fun of car/truck building!!! Making it YOURS! Not just some cookie cutter Ram off the show room floor. The ratchet shifter sounds fun!!!!

I highly recommend getting the Cometec gaskets from Joe.

Folks it is up and running! I'm super happy with how it sounds and how crisp the engine is. I don't have a filter on it yet so I have done any testing. Ole Red really likes it with a solid idle and crisp throttle response. Thanks Joe!

Will do Joe, I'll start putting the SC on tomorrow. I don't like running without a filter and it would be almost as much effort to jury rig something as it would to just install the SC and be done with it.
Thanks,

GOOD JOB :thumb:

What other mods do you have? This is the intake ive been wanting. Ive been keeping a eye on results on FB

Mine's a stock block and I figure it'll be good for sorting out the SC install. As soon as I saw Joe's manifold I knew that it was what I wanted to use with my heads and SC install. I expect it to be outstanding, especially with boost.
