I have finally gotten to where I can drive mine mostly mellow. The first 5 years was a constant, drive it like you stole it blur! I still have to put "those drivers" in there place from time to time. But, most of the time now, its just a cruiser. :brows::coolsmiley:

That is, until the little punk in the ricer, tries to screw with me! Then its on like Donkey Kong! :thumb::thumb::D

Hi Thefactor,
These trucks can definitely move. And yes that hemi can go from a gentle burble to "GET THE FREAK OUT OF MY WAY!" in about a tenth of a second.
Enjoy the truck and the smiles,

Howdy preachp ,
Couldn't agree more there definately impressive and love the motor and exhaust note it has this unique sound that can only be found with a Hemi . It's nice having that power when you need it .
Thanks man ! I'm definately enjoying it 👍🏻

Yeah I'm not to much of a street racer myself "these days''although spent a lot of time at the track with motorcycles and cars. But I'm sure learning the sweet spots of the power band with my truck mostly by accident . I'm pretty much a cruiser myself but I will kick her in the shorts periodically lol . I have a Class A Commerical license so they crack the whip on us pretty hard and need my license since it's my lively hood and all .

Understand completely. But the little stomp now and then is fun. :coolsmiley:

I like to just roll on down the road pretty much. I've been know to light them up on occasion. The best part is just knowing they have no idea what is or could occur at that moment when you decide to let it go.

It's fun posing too. When the light changes you let them fly, cause I got nothing to prove. :D

I pulled out of the store the other day and floored it, nothing. I turned traction control off and floored it while turning onto my street, the tires broke lose and I almost went in the ditch when the truck spun 180 degrees. for the last 12 years I've been driving 4wd suv's. I have to learn playing in a rear wheel drive truck all over again.

Just remember when in doubt get off the gas and if your not to far gone normally it will always straighten back out .Lighting them up on a turn can be a little more tricky as your reaction time has to be much faster .

 :coolsmiley: :D

I reckon I need to go out to the dog tracks huge side parking lot that's always empty one night and re-familiarize myself with rear wheel drive and maybe see about a little drifting type stuff lol
If you really want to have fun do it on a rainy night :brows:

Ah if it spins just stay in it and do a donut lol and yell meant to do that hahaha.
I tried that in my first car many many years ago lol and didn't fair to well .
It may work great if there's no trees around
I was 17 and streets were wet and punched it spinning around a corner and kept my foot to the floor board spinning around the turn thinking yeah I got this ,next thing I knew I was sitting on a tree with my radio hanging halfway out of the dash blasting AC/DC lol . Oh and there was a hole lot of steam , totaled my car and they had to saw it off the tree .
Yup that was the day I learned what to do and what not to . I think it actually made me a better driver on and off the track 👍🏻

i guess my years of growing up in the north with all the snow has blessed me with knowing what to do instinctively now. I don't know how many times I was able to drive around all the wrecked cars on the icey bridges and the snow stuck cars on the sides of the road.

When I was really young (too young to be driving legally) I would go into parking lots with my older friends and they would show me how to have fun with it. Then when I got into the situations I just did what I needed to do to not wreck. i was even able to show my mom, (who wrecked a car every winter) how to drive in the snow and control a slide. She never wrecked in snow after that. now down south its only rain, but same concept. Just easier.:thumb:

Yeah grew up in Chicago so driving in the snow is easy now . Same thing here was crossing a bridge drove my 500 rwh cobra to work and a snow storm hit that night and had to drive it almost 20 miles home . Had to cross a snow and ice covered bridge that looked like car/truck grave yard . There was a 4x4 truck nosed into the guard rail stuck and went by him pedaling the gas sideways past him and made to the other side . Made it home to but it was almost a 3 hour journey lol .
Oh yes the good ole days :)
