There are several 2500 Hemi owners here at HTC...one of them can give you their personal experience. Based on your hauling needs and the distance I would guess the 2500 would do just fine. :thumb:

You can always check for dealer recalls that are specific to your truck. We have a section in the forum that addresses 2500 Hemi owners and there are a few knowledgeable MegaCab owners on here too. Scan through the individual posts and do a search with the HTC search engine to help with some answers. There should be some owners and our chief mechanic jump on here as the day goes on...

Like how big of a skidloader? And what type of trailer? Bumper? Gooseneck? It should handle a mid or small size easily with a bumper car hauler. If you're using an 18' or 20' gooseneck trailer a large frame machine should be ok. Look up towing capacities and load ratings for the truck if you have questions. :thumb:

So I purchased the truck this evening it was owned by an older female who took really good care of it the leather was in awsome shape and even has the power sliding rear window it also had aftermarket wheels on it as well. Pretty much everthing I was looking for. And wow couldn't believe the room the mega cab had a fella could get lost back there lol

Mega Cab that's a big truck.:beerchug:

Thanks for all the welcomes and advice. The trailer is a 18' bumper pull solid trailer with brakes I will read up on it before testing the waters!
:thumb: Definitely do. Not just for the safety factor, the DOT in my area is really cracking down on towing violations. It's borderline out of hand imo but they will usually basically crucify anyone that's overweight.

I've had a few odd tickets, but never one for being fat.....
