While on the phone with Chrysler - see my post I just replied to - I was told that there IS a recall about the Drivers side Airbag, I don't know anything about this nor where to look for recalls but it became affective today........

Yup. "Excessive internal pressure, during airbag deployment events could result in an increased chance of occupant injury during certain crash conditions".

Bill.. lol...
Drives and passengers are hurt when the air bags deploy - pieces of the plastic dash/steering wheel hits them .. aw well.. amybe 99.9% of the time anyways

I, too, have been bitten by the "recall bug." My 03 needs to have the passenger airbag fixed. What about the driver side? Isn't reasonable to assume that Dodge used the same POS part on both sides!?:facepalm: What are the chances of my getting ANOTHER recall notice in the future for the driver side? I guess my frustrated "*******-ism" will certainly surface at that time.:angry:

It's very likely but hey at least the airbag company is owning up to it.

Bill I received the P(81) airbag notice on Saturday (2/14) which was attached to the pinion nut notice...of course they said the parts aren't available to fix the recall and they don't know when they will be able to do the repairs :facepalm:.

I got the Airbag recall notice for my '04. It said something about it being necessary in areas of high humidity such as Florida where my Truck has resided for the past 10 years!!
