2015 Rally - Dillsboro, NC

OK, So as you guys know I'm a bit of a new-be here so what all goes on at these rally's? I would like to attend but I really want to know what we will be doing. My wife and I are looking for a little vacation time this summer and this looks like to could fit the ticket!

We do lots of things. Nothing is mandatory. We try to plan one group activity a day: a day to the Biltmore, the picnic (you won't want to miss that), several folks will head out in small groups to do different things, dinner, shopping, basic sight seeing. You're day doesn't always end up with the people you start with. :D We also spend time at the hotel swimming, visiting, and playing games. There is something for everyone's activity level. :thumb:

Most everything we do is family friendly.

This sounds kind of neat. Is the cost $20 including the grill?

There is actually two different covered areas like this one I know has the big built in grill and the other I am unsure about both have restrooms available and one has a huge area for the kids. But I'm also checking into the hotel we discussed in their spouse to give me an estimate on rooms in the later tonight are in the morning as soon as I get the proposal I will send you a copy of it

all depends on location and what you want to do. sight see,gtg at diff places around the state we go to. visit historical areas. the rally is just a group of hemi people getting together by no means do you have to do what everyone does. its your vaca you can do whatever you want. my wife wants to go to BOONE,NC this year at least one day to site see says its a beautiful place. even wants to move there later on down the road (we will see I hate snow). an event list is in the works I believe for this year keep a lookout for it to pop up then you will know exactly what we will be doing this year.


just incase anyone cares we are trying to get the kids a sitter need a kido break so that would mean the beast will be going.

Burn Out Contest. :eek: :icon_nono:

Unless there is a Race Track for muscle flexing, we (most of us anyway) try to leave a good image of the Club wherever we go. :D

We had a gathering (Show & Shine) at a Local Dodge Dealership outside of Branson Missouri where a member was allowed to leave a special impression. :lol:

Yes if given permission there will be smoke. If not like stated we try and behave. Especially if we are in a town your can run across in 10mins kinda hard to hide lol. Don't get me wrong there will be tire barking and quick snaps of throttle for sure. Smoke eeeehhhhh maybe a foot will slip.

As far as the pavilion we will leave that to your local expertise. RESTROOMS ARE A MUST. :thumb:

I think we may have officially outgrown the Jarret House already.

i check on the other one it is twenty also for a two hour block and it mite be a little bigger and is keep up by the town of sylva the others is keep up by the county parks and rec and there both are with in one and a half of the area we are looking but i have spoke with both all hotel gm and they are happy to let us grill on the grounds the one u ask about does have the grills u talk about kima and there is a grant rec center too that is on the other end about ten miles from were u guys will be staying all of these have bathroom i will send u guys links

I also seem to recall a gathering in Huntsville where an individual left an indelible impression in the parking lot of the hotel that attracted a lot of unneeded attention from the local PD and hotel management. However both outside parties calmed down fairly quick and went about their daily routine.

There was also an incident at the Arlington, TX rally. Police were not called after other members of HTC scrubbed the parking lot. :eek:

see other post about parks I thank we are trying to keep this one for members to this post if there are planning to come this is going to be great the more the marrier let's show this little town HEMI'S and i will try to find us a place for the smoke show guys ,,,,,, can't promise anything but i will try would love to see them maybe a big parking lot some where i dont know what it will in tell,,, if any one has ideas on how to arrange this please pm me
