Well heading out there tomm gonna be nice and chilly too. Only sad part is the track will no be prepped for slicks. Meaning they are not waisting a ton of spray on the track only to have mud trucks run down it and fill it with dirt.they are running a jet earlier in the day so the track won't be totay crap early on. I am still going to run the slicks just get them really hot
And see what happens. Hope I get a few runs in before dirt sets in. Will also be running technically full street trim weight plus some for you stu. Leaving my tires in the bed and jack also unless I have someone there with a truck not
Locking my stuff to the gate with a bunch of dumb kids in diesels there alone if you know what I mean.

Sorry Keith, got to many things going on this weekend that need to be done. Have another water leak "somewhere" on the water going to the house again........:sad: Also looking around for a car for Sydney too. Need to get that done to get the Saturn back. Then the mods to the truck can continue next year.

Ok well got 5 runs in very quickly. First run ran 12.8 running 10+ afr and blew a boost hose off they traps at 103. Fixed hose ran again blew hose immediately 15.2 let off right after popped off. Fixed ran again blew hose near end 13.1 and noticed afr better this
Time so made a tweek to tune and bent pipe edges out to swell it so it won't blow off. Ran two back to back runs 12.9@103. Noticed I am inly getting 4-6 psi I have a big leak somewhere or I have simply maxed out my little 1200 blower with the diff manifold and head porting I have now. Need a 1500
Blower or a turbo now gotta get to 15psi unreal. Back when I ran my 12.1 keep in mind I cracked the intake and it was 32degress outside with a rather lean afr and less airspace to fill. With a bigger unit or turbo I can go faster the blower is just using to much power to make power. Tomm doing a boost leak test on the system to see where it's leaking from once fixed will try again.

I had a call come in and couldn't make it. Sucks I wanted to see the truck in action. Gonna have to wait till funday Sunday.

I remember when we were at g-vile we were talking to a guy in the staging lanes an he said something about a track in Georgia. Was saying something about the surface, I think about being a concrete track or half an half

My guess would be the track at Valdosta. The a$$ who was building my engine always went there with cars he actually completed

I am looking forward to the day I will finally be able to run mine again...................

Well did some leak checking today and all I can say is

I had leaks at every coupler even with t bolt clamps. Fixed all them. Ran the pressure up to 10psi and found big leaks at the intake spacer I have at top and bottom seal. It's micro bubbles but I'm sure it adds up. Found a huge leak at my evap purge solenoid. I had it unplugged and the amount of boost that was leaking out that connector hole was crazy. Plugged it in and leak gone. Ran pressure to 15 and evap line started leaking zip tied them no more leak. My blow off valve does leak a little around the oring base so will be putting a new oring on there to solve that. But all in all I think I found the majority of the issue I hope. If not it's smaller pulley time or diff compressor device time.
