Can't remember how much I paid, but I greatly recommend Inertia motorsports for a stroker kit. Great service, great product, lot's of tips and recommendations. Been running my 392 stroker from inertia for 22000 miles without any motor related problems!!

thats what it took..In my excitement I mis-shifted alot, skippin D an goin into N. Now I can shift as hard as I can and will never miss a shift...

love the floor shifter I gotta do that here soon shifting on the column I miss shift a lot and it sucks.
You can have mine if you want, when I finish my manual swap. Tci ratchet shifter, as seen on street outlaws murder nova lol.

Does have some cosmetic damage on the alu housing from my kids crawling all over the truck :)

have a brand new set of 4.56's i was going to put in before my chain tensioner broke and i went the stroker rout. I think the 3.92's will do the trick once I'm tuned up..

I'm clumsy and like shifting manually (03 no trans support). Choose the TCI FastGate.

Guess I'm wrong and mine is also a gate shifter, since each gear has it's own position and apparantly with a real ratchet shifter after each shift it returns to the same position?

Yes ratchet shifters I've used you have to ratchet through each gear, with the lever remaining in a single position. Gate shifter the lever has a position for each selected gear. You can see mine is in PARK which is all the way forward. "D", "2" and 1st are in a more vertical position.

Edit: Gates shifters are thought of more for the street/strip and Ratchets are more strip.

I like yours better redtruckva I could disable the safety and go back to 2nd without an issue to hold third gear thru the traps.
I think they pretty much work the same and i like his as well. The shifter is more straight up. When I was running 4.56 gears I used it all the time.. I think with the 3.92's and tow/haul..it holds 3rd gear thru the traps now..
