Those are two Accel 48# injectors. I need the extra fuel while under full boost. Below the throttle body, which is mounted to a carb plate, are the dual 375 Snow Performance nozzles for the w/m injection.

We're going to turn up the wick to 15lbs if the belt and tensioner can handle it.

The hemi's great Steve, thanks for asking....47,000 miles and still running the 150 shot and shak'n up the locals...!!!!

Apologize for the other off posts but don't get a chance to post much and this is pretty much my favorite area....!!!!

ACE!... I know you guys know what you're doing, but are you using snub pulleys besides the tensioner to get more contact on the drive pulleys.....or a turnbuckle to hold the supercharger?

For those reading and don't know what snub pulley's are,...they are used to provide more belt contact on a pulley to increase its grip...here is a simple drawing

Actually I do get off on boost...!!!! But this endeavor will be using gobs of spray, I did aquire a new turbo recently, but not a Mopar...wanted a Maxi Cab Dually, but was afraid of he 4-speed auto and it's only available in a short bed so I ended up with the rig pictured below...the toy hauler is a 50 footer, but tows like a dream...24 feet of garage and two bedroom living quarters...for Mama....!!!!!!

Actually it does...one winch up front under the cabinets and one in the rear ceiling for closing the ramp and doubles as a hoist...have been wanting a setup like this for a very long time...!!!!!

We have enough snub pulley's to make use of a 126" belt. It's the longest belt we could find without going custom. If they made a longer one, I'd snub pulley the heck out of it. lol Thanks for the drawing so other's may benefit from it.

Couple of 4-wheelers...LOL...Towing the 84 down to the house next week, waiting for my chassis guy....looks like about a 90 day roller build, going 2x3 mild steel frame with CM funny car cage, 4-link and a-arms up front. Cab will be lightened stock steel, looking at carbon fiber 2-piece front clip doors and rear fenders....going with all 78 step side body parts and grill...will have power windows, door locks, full insulation/carpet, stock dash. Looking to wiegh in at around 3200 - 3400 lbs with driver....?????

Hey Jerry/Denny, in your transmission research have you figured out what the normal operation shift order is? 1-2-3-TCC-4-5? I just rebuilt my transmission again and I'm getting a rough shift on the last one in the chain, I'm thinking that it's the 4-5 shift but hoping it's the TCC kicking in and that would point to a bad torque converter, much easier to replace

How long does it usually take for your truck to re-adjust the CVI data and get used to the fresh tranny when you put a new one in? On mine I usually have a rough 1-2 or 2-3 shift for the first couple of days until it adjusts then it's fine. I had that and a slight overrev on the 3-4 shift for the first couple days as expected and now it's acting normal other than the rough last shift. I'm thinking that the TCC would already be engaged by the 4-5 shift but hopefully you know for sure. It sure would be nice to have that fancy DRB-III tool, lol. I wouldn't mind getting my hands on a good stock converter to swap in and see if that helps. Anybody have one laying around?

Oh yeah, have you seen the MSD "timing twister" unit they have out now? It's probably old news since I've been out of the loop on this stuff for awhile but if it really supports advancing timing on the hemi that would be sweet indeed. I came across it while looking for some Mustang parts, I've almost finished tuning that finally. I got the tune good enough to hit the nitrous for the first time on Sunday, ran a 12.821 @ 112.79mph with a crappy 2.141 60' on skinny street tires. After adjusting the tune and changing some of the progressive settings around I expect to drop that time to a 12.5 next time out and once I get some sticky tires hopefully hit the high 11s. Of course then I'll probably break the tranny and/or rear end

Hmmm, I didn't know it unlocked during shifts. I'm talking about how when you accelerate normally you can count 5 distinct ratio changes for a total of 6 "gears", I always assumed that one was the TC locking up. I'm going to drive it for another day or two to see if the 4-5 shift CVI data is just being slow to adapt and then I might take you up on that torque converter. I do still have that Saine converter I got from Jerry but since the truck is going up for sale I'm going to stick with a stock unit. I got away easy on this rebuild, only the 2C and UD clutches were toasted strangely enough, no hardware damage. At least this will be the last time I need to rebuild it.
