Well that was one expensive month, first the steering rack sprung a leak whilst on a little break in Belgium! Managed to limp home to the U.K with a couple of ltrs of power steering fluid and stopping every now and then to fill it up.
Replaced rack, inner and outer track rods new ball joints and drop links, while it's on the ramp might as well throw some pads and discs front and rear.
By now the Truck is due it's yearly inspection , I am a vehicle inspector but the Truck is over my weight limit! So 5 new tyres, front pads new exhaust muffler ( not fitted yet!! ) touch in the front number plate ( licence tag) with some black nail varnish from the wife!!!. Give it a blast down motorway ( highway) to sort the emissions out as I've only done1000miles in it last year.
Well were good for another year which makes me happy!!!!:thumb:

I've seen three R&P leaks it has turned out all three had hoses leaking. I hope you checked it closely before replacing it...

Oh yes the wife's car is the daily no more leaks was defo the seal in the rack leaking , is quiet common on them. :thumb:
Sorry I misunderstood, I thought you were speaking of the truck having the leak. It's quite common for the factory crimp to leak on the Ram. And when taken in for inspection the shop will jump on it as a leaking R&P and want $800 for the un-necessary repair.
