That's where I get torn with wheels on a lowered truck. I had rubberband tires on my old truck that was dropped an it sucks. I really want some 06-08 20s one day for the truck. But I reallllllly like have some meaty sidewalls with my tires an with what I do with the truck at times it's the most ideal. Tho if I found srt wheels for a steel Id snatch em! Lol

We really need a group truck pic!

Yep, me too Mario. Want the lowered look with full suspension travel if possible. Will have to change the front tires to 285/35/22s. Better tire clearance for suspension travel, kinda like Neils truck. The front did drop down 2" Mario. Little easier to work on the engine.:D

Would my ugly rig be allowed in that pic?

Took the truck for a quick ride. Suspension ride up front is too soft. Softer than the stock front oem springs. These are the regular cab springs........ Will have to put the oem springs back in. This will be the third and final time the front suspension will be raised back up again.

Stu it could just be your shocks are now out of range. Mine a flat worn out and it rides boat like up front once I get drop shocks it will be back in range and ride good again.

Don't sweat it Mario. Haven't been able to get the front suspension where I've wanted it anyhow. Might just cut the stock springs to drop it down 1/2 from the stock ride height. Then just leave the front suspension height alone. Going to move the bolts to the upper hole on the leaf spring shackles. Then just leave the rear suspension alone too.

Does anyone know how much to cut the stock oem springs on a QC for about 1/2 drop?

This will give you about 3/4 inch.

This is the fender gap using 285/55-20's (31") with no inner fender rub running on the back roads.
