hello all,
i know i am not a member of the VA chapter but i am in this area and im getting the hell off base next weekend, if anyone wants to meet up or compare notes im game, i dont know where anything is, as i am a TN resident, anywhere but this base is cool with me.

Hey guys...I'm back in the states, but not back in the Virginia Beach area. If all goes well with our offload, I should be back before the weekend. I'd be up for a GTG and open up the Hemi a bit. My girlfriend flew up to Jersey this past weekend and I rented a Ford Focus...I WANTED TO RUN IT INTO A CONCRETE BARRIER!!! I punched the throttle waiting for something to happen, but only heard louder noises. I need to get back in my own car and truck!

I swung by a few Dodge Truck dealerships in the area, though. I found a really nice orange quad cab 4x4 GTX and another dealer that had 4 Rumble Bees on the lot.

Hope to meet up with some locals soon! Take care...

I never cross the border without my VISA, American Express, Discover, MasterCard, VISA Debit Card, Checkbook, and usually twenty bucks or less in my pocket

How 'bout a state park this time? Or a city park? Good for photos, we can bring coolers for sodas, etc. The cruise somewhere after that for awhile...

First Landing State Park looks promising. It's a little north of Va Beach. I can't get off the base until around noon. Let me know what you guys think.

I would go but I think I have to work till 2 on sat. First landing is down waterside drive way down on that straight desolate before you get to the beach I believe.

Well, great news! We offloaded all our ordnance and I'll be in the area for this GTG...finally! Just let me know a time and place and I'll be there. MrHemi...can't wait to get a nice burnout pic and video with both our trucks!
