Yeah...dont think it will sneaking out so much as running out the front door while you roll down your window for me to jump in.

Who know that trying to move in the middle of doing a header and exhaust upgrade and going to the track to test two air intakes would cause so much trouble lol

Oh and dont you dare tell her I broke my truck I will have to sleep outside for a week or at the very least buy something ridiculously shiney and expensive for her to wear. Who has the money for that when there are more parts to buy!!!! LOL

throttle response is alot better with this than the vararam.

Dave, when are you going to track test it against the airram, and your mit? Also raiderjay, where did you get your truck dynoed? I want to get mine done. We have to meet up in the spring too, are you planning anything special in the performance departement on your truck?

I got it Dynoed in CT at a GTG for DTW. We had about 15 vehicles show up so it was around $40-$50 per vehicle for 3 pulls. http://www.victorresearch.com/ Dont have any power mods planned as of now. I want to get an e-fan in the spring.

If the RamHammer produces 9 HP and let's say the 3rd Strike produces 7 HP, as an example only, is 2 HP worth $200 bucks? In my humble opinion, I'd go with the 3rd Strike if this is the case. Just makes good sense because, that $200 could go somewhere else on the truck. I'd be interested in seeing a 3rd Strike vs RamHammer test.

I went into the whole test I did with the same thoughts....but here is what you dont realize until you have strapped a couple intakes to your truck......How they deliver the power is as important if not more so than how much power they deliver.
The RamHammer replaces that off the line punch you lose with 98% of the CAI's on the market. So for me....it's worth the money because there are no losses with it off of the line. Every CAI I have used I have lost throttle response off of the line with. The RamHammer is the exception to the rule for me and more than worth the money.

I'm gettin' in this late.
I only have experience with the 3rd strike but I can tell ya, It just gets up and goes. I don't lose anything. It matches up with my Superchips really well.

Seems to me you could get a 3rdstrike intake and a 6.1 cam for the cost of the Ramhammer. Don't get me wrong, I love to see new intakes and other performance parts hit the market! Just found out AirForceOne and Spectre also make a hemi intake now. I really would like to see some testing done between the intakes out there, mine included...

if you really want to save $$$$ those ebay intakes that look similar to the 3rd strike are only around $80 shipped

...thanks to Shanes review..I am goin this route and hope to get mine by end of week...I'll know for myself if it will enhance the performance of an intermediately modded hemi.. Our nex track day is 11/25 and I will know if it improves on my 13.89 na in my qc..
