Anyone heard of or had dealings with Needless Torque Tuners? Thanks,Joe zucco.

Never heard of them...

Did a quick Google search... found their website - which is "under construction" and looks kinda lame at the moment. But what caught my eye was this: "Specializing in performance engine calibrations for 2003-2010 Srt-4, PTGT, SRT-8 and Hemi cars and trucks utilizing DiabloSport CMR tuning software..."

Hmmmm...

Right,Mark. The name came up on Diablos web site as a custom tuner in my area.Since the location is only 30 mi.from my town maybe I can meet him personally even though he says "email tunes only".

Not sure what "Needless Torque Tuners" can do that you can't do yourself with the Diablo tuner. Might be a good idea to call Diablo customer service (561-908-0040) and ask a few questions!

ohhh... between 250 and 300 additional PIDs are available, beyond what diablo will let the "end user" adjust.

BUT, be DAMN sure they know what they are doing, ESPECIALLY when it comes to the Ram's PCM. It is NOTHING like tuning an LX platform.

yes, I see him on the Diablo CMR forum. dude seems to be a good tuner.

what kind of custom tuning do you want? PCM? TCM? both?

I can tune your trans, and can do some PCM stuff with Diablo CMR.

for one thing, the cars have more adjustments in some areas.

Example:
Tables/Closed Loop Fuel/Exhaust Transport Bank 1, Exhaust Transport Delay Bank 2:
are good things to be able to adjust for LT headers, since the time to reach the front o2's is longer especially at idle. increased delay can improve idle quality with LT headers.

most LX's have this, Rams do not until 2009. '09 & '10 Rams both have a "Tables/Closed Loop Fuel" folder.

I suspect that 2004- 2008 Rams have a "Tables/Closed Loop Fuel" folder, but Diablo doesn't want to take the time to get some trucks in and look for it.

Man,I love the HTC website. It's like the Better Business Bureau for our trucks.Keeps everybody honest. With 7k members,it's hard to beat the collective data available right at your keyboard.I've gotta get my tuner back from DiabloSport"keypad took a dump"first, then I want to squeeze any more get up and go that a custom tune might add with the bolt-on mods that I have.Thanks.
