You sucked up water? Did you hydrolock the motor????

Ouch....mine looked exactly like it

So my truck wouldnt shift at WOT. Thought the tranny was slipping or some sort of screwed up, turns out I forgot to raise the rev limiter so my shift is at 6k and the rev limiter was at 5600. WHOOPS lol

Stu is ur 390 ready to go in yet?

I think my viper fan is finally dieing. The low speed barely turns and the truck has almost overheated. Touched a few wires together trying to see what it could be and blew the fuse.. The high speed would work fine at least. Its been acting funky the past few days and even when the truck was cold the low speed came on and then the high with the switch off. SOOO I put the clutch fan back on today and i'll play with it some more later

Here's another interesting turbo set-up test results between the .81 and the .68 A/R housings on the rear mount STS turbo.

Water/meth, T76 turbo, 5.8 spring in primary W/G, 8.3 spring on secondary W/G(also used as VWG), both W/G seats in, 348 forged engine, Sharadon stage III trans, 2800 stall Edge TC, 456 gears, Trutrac posi, Full Street Trim.

........10/21/11..............03/05/12
......... (.81) ........ (.68) .... (.68 without the VWG)
60'...... 2.188 ........ 2.207 ....... 2.288
330...... 5.940 ........ 5.826 ....... 6.077
1/8...... 9.003 ........ 8.883 ....... 9.182
1/8mph... 79.48 ........ 81.62 ....... 78.70
1000'.... 11.678 ....... 11.416 ...... 11.880
1/4 ..... 13.926 ....... 13.588 ...... 14.148
1/4mph... 100.47 ....... 103.86 ...... 99.64

Without the VWG on the .68 A/R housing. The engine wouldn't rev up as high off the line and through the gears at only 6.5psi boost. Too much exhaust back pressure between the engine and turbo.

With the VWG, The engine was able to rev up off the line and through the gears but, did boost creep from 7 to 8.5psi boost in 3rd gear just past the 1000'mark. Ooooops.....(needed to swap W/G positions at the turbo manifold or a little bigger W/G).

The air/fuel ratio still was 11.2 at the end of the track. Hummmmm.......

Everything ran great on the tune and the engine. That's when it hit me.

The KRC 5psi mild street tune was good for more boost.

Eventually, there will be some testing done again with the VWG, .68 A/R housing on the front mount turbo only in the cool weather.
