Less than a half hour to install it and the Shorty Wires,great price,more power,looks great,I couldn't be more pleased.Plus it sounds like a 4bbl Quadrajet with the secondaries wide open

Now ya can get hot air to yer motor from two sides!
 
Don't feel bad, I tried one also!
 
It works best if you have a ram air hood. I have that CAI with my SRT-10 hood and it works great.

Ok, now how do you figure this? Yes it will be hotter than the air coming from the front of the vehicle, but our trucks have a tremendous amount of air flowing through the engine compartment. These are all sealed up like some high dollar sports car....You can add a heat shield to both filters and block 80-85% of the heat from the engine anyway.

It works for me. Gave the truck a little more spunk. This truck sees a lot of dirt and mud,and these filters are up where they won't get drowned all the time.
