Just saying hello to everybody, and introduce myself. Looks like a fun club, I think I'll try to make the Arlington get together, especially since I live almost 20 minutes away!

Bought my Dodge truck in November 2004. Strange thing is that I always hated Dodge. I'm 34 and my impressionable phase occured during the early 1980's when Dodge was taking a beating (except for Caravans, but I was 16 and didn't care).

So, the 3rd generation RAM caught my eye in 2003 and the Magnum is awesome. When I started test driving, I liked the F150, Titan, the Tundra and the RAM1500. The truck market is awesome right now. Chevy dropped the ball, but there are four awesome 1/2 ton pickups on the market. Each truck has its upside (except Chevy), but the RAM came out ahead in cost, elbow room and rugged good looks.

What can I say? I wanted that Hemi.

welcome to the club. hey, southern, 101

- I too was brought up on in the Chevy world - My dad was and still is a big Chevy fan - he has a 88 P/U with over 200000 miles on it and yes it is A RUST BUCKET but still runs and is a daily driver BUT he said he loves my truck - I let him drive it ONCE being nice - he wanted to see what all the hype was about - all he said was WOW these have some get up and go. I told him to wait till the Superchips gets here !!!

Welcome Sty - Glad to have in the club, I was always a GM man, until 2000 when I bought my first Dodge truck, lost it in Tropical storm Allison with 25K on the speedo, bought my 04' for fathers day last year, and am pleased with it, but it looks like I'm going for the new Daytona in a couple of weeks! HEMI ON!

Welcome and Howdy. My dad always had a chevy truck (a "65 SB, Step side w/a 327, which I bought 2 yrs ago) but always swore by the DODGE being the best vehicle out there, while my mom was kept in Ford vehicles. My first truck was a '67 F-100 with a 390. I own three trucks, and have had a Toyota, Ford, Chevy, And Dodges since then. When I bought my '99 Dodge QC SB 5.9, all my parents could say was, "Well, you finally did something right." I thoroughly agree. Dodge is all I will ever own from here on out. Welcome again, good to have 'ya.

I read somewhere that Dodge sells more trucks in TX than anywhere else, so yep, you fellas are gonna be rolling in Texans.

As far as the Metroplex (Ft. Worth to Dallas and in between) goes, I'm not a big fan of the traffic. Don't get me wrong, Ft. Worth is great as far a city goes, but I am sick of the featherfooted people that populate our access ramps. Driving 635 (the loop) in Dallas on Sunday afternoon rocks. I have no idea how fast you have to go to get a ticket. I've been passed by cops when I'm going 80 mph.

3girls- I wash it once a week. Black might show dirt more, but it is more rewarding when you clean it. I'm really surprised by how popular the atlantic blue is. If they sold a gomango orange, you know it'd be everywhere. Is that the Daytona's orange? Can't tell from the pic.

Hemi-mon- I've been to Joe T. Garcia's, the wait is too long for me. There is a lot of good Mexican food around here. I prefer the grease laden BBQ, myself. Oh, I like beer too.

Slinger - I dwell on the southside, just east of 8th street. I'd rather live out in the boonies

.

Saber- I'll post a pic, but it ain't finished yet. Still got the steel argent wheels (seems rare on this forum). They ain't purty, but they roll. I'm saving up for some Alcoa wheels. Love 'em.
