Greg, you are a voice from the past. I have not been around much, but checked my mail and there you were. I trust you are well. Good to see you have continued your journey with Big Red, which i might add is still lookin sharp.

Unfortunately the RumbleBee has been garaged for the last 6 months. which I add is due to my own health issues and those of my wife. My lady had a bad fall and damaged her knees and i became her full time caregiver and number one go to guy. The ladies injury was such she could not get in or out of the Ram. I have had to cram my 6-4 frame into her little Toyota and do all the driving. I might have sold the truck and purchased something more suitable for both of us, but no one here has the kind of money I would want to let the Ram go. Thank goodness For that I say!! It can stay in the shed until everyone is better and able to again enjoy Gods gift to motoring pleasure. But with gas still edging US$8 a gallon, driving the Toyota is easy on the pocket.

Greg, this is Matt with Moe's. This is an old screen name I used to use almost 10 years ago. The Hoosiers I have been racing on are actually still on the SST wheels I got from you. As for my truck, I'm going back out on December 4th to try to crack that 11.99 mark. If the weather forecast holds, the DA is supposed to be around -1000'.

Its a stock 545RFE with an Edge Converter and SuperStreet VB. Nothing fancy about this transmission.

Truck has every bolt on, stock ported heads with stock size valves, 214/222 Custom Cam, 4.56 Gears, Edge 11" 3400 Stall converter, 295/65/15 MT radials out back, 28x4.5x17 M&H fronts, and 4495lb race weight.

hey Greg..this is Randy , wingman69 having trouble again with my 545 rfe.. stage 3.. Denny is putting together a parts list for a 4L80 build have you done this swap? Keith said he thought you had if so, what are the little things that need to come together to make this swap drive shaft length , shifter, converter, etc

You suggested I use 6.1 valve springs instead of 5.7 Is there any difference from year to year or any 6.1 spring will work. Don't want to wait a week to get them and not work when they do show up.
