Want to trade?

Hey all...I'm new to this forum but like what I've seen so far. I'm trying to trade my '05 20" chrome clads for your 20" polished + about $300 (wheels only, no tires).

Here's the catch: I really don't want to deal with shipping, so I'm looking for someone within a couple hours of Oklahoma City to meet me halfway. Anyone interested? Thanks...

Thanks for the welcome guys!

I just got my 2005 2WD 1500 QC Laramie Sport, HemiSport ground effects, 20" chrome clads....

I've only just begun, but I've learned a lot from these forums so far.

Please keep your eyes and ears open for anyone wanting to upgrade their rims to the chrome clads. Thanks...

Why do you want the polished wheels? They are a pain in the *** to keep shiny! If you don't keep them clean they get real hazzy looking. I wass and wax mine to keep them nice and shiney, since they got a clearcaot on them. I tried mothers polish but it didn't do anything. Then I waxed them, and BLING!

Welcome 05MGM glad you decided to join the family.... we're not to far apart for a GTG one of these days...

Money you should know better...chrome looks great when it's new and shiney...after a few months of the neighborhood dogs using them for a fire hydrant they begin to show pits...
Polished will never be as shiney and pretty as new chrome but I can live with out rust pits. I got so tired of cleaning and polishing the last set of chrome I had it wasn't funny.

Thanks again for the warm welcome! I have already learned a lot from you guys, and plan to start "personalizing" my new ride immediatly!

Money: I want the polished ones so I can powdercoat them black. I have a Mineral Gray Metallic Sport with black mirrors, door handles, bumper accents, etc. I plan to continue the gray and black theme by debadging and losing most, if not all, chrome accents. Thanks for the concern, but I believe the black OEMs will set the truck off nicely.

Rancher: I will definitely be down for a GTG some day. I really like seeing other people's ideas and how they come out in real life.

Majon: What's up fellow Okie! Glad to hear from you. I don't know what look you're going for, but if speed is your thing you made the right decision going with the 17s! These 20s are insanely heavy...

Later guys...and let everyone know about my chromies!
