The day started off innocently enough, with our small group (myself, Keith, Rocky, and Zach) accidentally meeting at the Captain Carwash over by Keith's house.

We stopped by the local extortionist...oops...I mean, gas station and I filled up:

None of the others did. Hmmm....I wonder why.

Keith nabbed some coffee, and gave it the two thumbs up seal of approval:

Off we go, looping around I-270 to Hilliard to hook up with the HTC guys.
Rocky pulling out in front:

....while Keith and Zach hung back behind the guy with the radar detector:

Rocky made friends with a blue Silverado:

Apologies for the blurry pic; it's tough to zoom in while cruising in triple digits.

Keith going in for some left-overs:

....but the Silverado bailed off the highway after his run-in with Rocky.
*sigh*

It's like cat herding with these guys, but I finally managed:

LMAO

Arriving at Dave & Buster's:

Of course I'm the only a-hole that takes up two spots with his truck.

Another group shot:

Yes- Zach's front bumper is jacked up. He got short-stopped by someone and did a quick temp repair on the bumper. It will soon be replaced.

Iain (sp?) and Gary showed up with their Hemi-powered trucks, and lined up on the far end along with our host, James:

Note Keith posing with not his truck. LOL

Iain and Gary are both firefighters, so their trucks are outfitted with a pantload of emergency lighting/sirens:

Iain did a slick job with his Fire/Ice light bar in back.
Symbolic, if you will.

The obligatory cool low-angle shot:

I think Rocky and I might have to switch plates:

If he keeps his mods going, he'll be able to legitimately run my plate. LOL

We enjoyed a great meal at Dave & Busters, and James brought goodie bags for everyone courtesy of O'Reilly's Auto Parts (hat, t-shirt, etc.).
VERY COOL!

Inside, Keith found some true inspiration:

Phil finally showed up after his long trek.
Of course we made him whip out the cool tilt-front hood:

It's still a work in progress, and needs some touch up.
It's a pretty slick setup considering he did it himself. Kudos, Phil!

I had a few minutes, so I broke out the new SCT and tried out the Valet Tune from Roe. It works.
Oh boy does it work.
Thankfully no one was running video. It was hysterical to drive; I'm sure it was even funnier to watch.
I quickly put it back to the 93 Octane tune.

It was late in the afternoon, and we were all BS'd out. Keith and I headed back to New Albany, while Rocky and Zach went back inside to finish off their game cards (probably at the DDR game....."What's 'high score' mean? Did I break it?" LOL)
The others had long journeys as well, so James did a quick drawing for the O'Reilly banner and some other goodies courtesy of the HTC.
I won the banner!
Zach won the gas card (worth it's weight in gold these days).

Standard group photo:

Thanks to the guys at the HTC for letting us hang with them today.
I had a great time and look forward to doing it again.

Dad and I might have the long trip winner on this one. LOL I started in Bowling Green, Ky and Dad in Payneville, Ky.

Based off my new garmin, it was 360.1 mi. from the driveway in Mansfield to my driveway in Bowling Green. 720.2mi round trip! Well worth it though for my first GTG.

Thanks for having us guys!

Oh yeah. I upgraded my Superchips and got a new Mileage XS upgrade. With premium and a little "hotroddin" for the first 60mi on the tank I got 16mpg on the way home! A great improvement from the 12mpg I normally get!
