Rather than take a poll I'll just ask y'all to indicate if you want smoking or non-smoking and if you want a single king bed or two double beds.

Actually I think everyone will make their own reservation. I just need an idea. Be sure to tell them you are with the Hemi Truck Club. As soon as we know who will give us the best deal I'll announce that and you can make your reservation.

Once we decide on the hotel we also need to be thinking about registering for whatever events you want to participate in, There will be a drag race on a NHRA sanctioned 1/4 mile and a show. The schedule (when it finally is released) will shed more light on this.

By they way, I think there will be a big swap meet and a manufacturer's midway. Hey Duane! You oughta get you a booth.

Who needs a room for the Chrysler Classic GTG?

I've been checking hotels in Bowling Green. I looked up rooms for April 18-20 and the best I found so far is:

Red Roof Inn - kids under 17 free - continental breakfast
ALL-INCLUSIVE KING (WITH WIFI, LD) NONSMOKING $61.49 - internet special - regular $67.99
STANDARD 2 FULL BEDS NON-SMOKING, 27" TV $65.99 internet special - regular $72.99
STANDARD 2 FULL BEDS SMOKING, 27" TV $65.99 - internet special - regular $72.99

Comfort Inn - continental breakfast
1 King Bed, No Smoking Max Occupancy: 2 persons / 3 persons with extra bed from $69.88
1 King Bed, Smoking Max Occupancy: 2 persons / 3 persons with extra bed from $69.88
2 Double Beds, No Smoking Max Occupancy:4 persons / 5 persons with extra bed from $75.88
2 Double Beds, Smoking Max Occupancy: 4 persons from $75.88

These are some decent rates I think. I expect a lot of folks to be in Bowling Green for this event, so we need to be deciding on a place to stay. Best Western is already not available on those days.

Anyone know anything about either place? I know we liked the Red Roof Inn we stayed at in London, KY for our first Kentucky Chapter GTG.

A motel's smell factor is a BIGGY for me! If it smells unclean, it probably is!

I would say the Red Roof Inn, but maybe you should go check it out for us?

Yo, kenb3535. Can you take a look at both places and give them the nose test?

I talked to both of the below hotels today to see if they would give us any more discounts for reserving multiple rooms. I was able to get a little bit if a discount from the Red Roof Inn. The Comfort Inn would not budge. Below are the New rates.
