Restoring The Garage

Back when I originally bought my present "Fixer Upper House". My wife at the time(ex wife now ) wanted me to build her a laundry room in the garage. I loved the garage. But, being the good husband that I was. I did it anyway. The washer and dryer was set up in the sun room. So everything had to be moved. Plumbing, electrical, vents, shelves, ect, ect....

To make a long story short. Putting it back to the way it was. That means a much bigger garage(for what it is). Could actually work on my truck in the garage and not have to move it out of the way when I need to get something. April says it's a great idea. Although she might see me a little less after it's done. Been gathering stuff for this change back for a while. Since I don't have money right now for modding the truck. It's a good time to get it done.

Getting ready to demo the laundry room. Can't wait to do some spring cleaning too. It's funny how much "junk" you gather over the years.

Have already moved the washer, dryer, and electric heater back to the sun room. And they're up and running. Going to use some of the wood for framing in the washer and dryer enclosure like the way it was before. Except this time, it will have closet doors to close so the washer, dryer and hot water heater can't be seen.

Great idea, the garage is a sacred place. I am looking for a house, I can afford, with the # 1 requirement being a two car garage, and in or near Jefferson, Texas. It doesn't matter if it is attached or not.

It wont be a two car garage. More like a car and a half length wise.

Exactly why when I sold my house and bought my current one the main requirement was a 2car garage. Will be nice to have the extra room.

You will always find more 'stuff' to fill the space...just carve-out a place for the Hemi's .
