Re gear

We'll the 4.56s have done me well the two yrs they been in the truck. But now being on a 29" tire an probably trying to go faster from here it got me thinking after talking with Tyler to maybe go to a 4.10 or 3.92 down the road. Opinions?

Lightbulb

There are some calculation conversion charts available out there somewhere - I'm running about 2K RPM at 80 MPH on a 32.9" tire with a 3.92 ratio if I remember correctly .

At 80 I'm around 2200-2300 with 4.10's so I don't think it would be worth it

4:10 gear on 28" @ 65mph I was reading 2150rpm. I'm on 30" now and seeing 2050rpm. I got four nice 28" Generals 275/55-17 I'll sell, if interested shoot me a PM.

It's not like I drive highway much so it doesn't bother me to much.

Mario 4.56 gears are perfect for you when I ran my 12.10 I was at 6k in third exactly where you wanna be end of a gear going thru traps. I now have 4.10 because I plan to go faster and will need more gear for third and josh had a nice deal on them.

4.10 in your truck now won't make you faster it may actually slow you down only upside is slightly lower cruise rpm IMO
