One last 545rfe base line before swap!

Well heading to the track tomm night going to be low 60s. I am taking the truck and going to get it as fast as I can and use that as a base line for the a518 swap comparison. The 545 has lasted well over 3 years of total abuse and neglect and is only now showing it's failing on me. So with that said track tomm get a baseline move into new house by the 15th lift and what not by new year then rebuild the 518 and install. The tune is not getting a single change neither is the trick just the trans swap so it will be a dead on before and after comparison time to see what the truck can really do. Also there will be no trans brake at this time as I am testing the guts strength of the a518 so everyone knows what it will take and what it won't take with factory internals and a stage 3 rebuild kit. Hoping to see 11.7s tomm or maybe faster if I'm lucky we will see.

This will be a perfect test. Can't wait to see how they compare. Already know it's plenty strong enough to hold the motor. Beating on mine doing back to back runs I'm only seeing 180 max.

Still racing? I am jealous as hell, it's -30c here this morning. I hope it goes well, when my 545 goes the that way I'm going to look at doing the same thing.
